Foundation volunteer

Service Saturday Volunteer Days

From 9:00 am – 12:00 pm one Saturday a Month volunteers will gather to work on various projects that help to provide more resources to our families and community. Each month the project changes, volunteer solo or with a group.

Volunteers 14 and older must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian to volunteer. Volunteers 13 and younger must volunteer with a parent or guardian and need to contact the Volunteer Manager in advance. Accommodations are available upon request (sitting tasks, minimal lifting, etc., please contact Volunteer Manager in advance).

Group Volunteer opportunities

We love group volunteer days! We have hosted Corporate Groups, Cultural Groups, School Groups, and more! If you have a group that is interested in sharing their time and talents contact our Development Manager, Julie Schmidt, [email protected], With your group size and projected date(s) of interest to set up a volunteer opportunity!

Special Event Volunteers

Special event volunteers participate in one day events on and offsite that help to bring awareness and resources to our misson. Volunteers 14 and older must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian to volunteer. Volunteers 13 and younger must volunteer with a parent or guardian and need to contact the Volunteer Manager in advance to ensure we have age appropriate tasks. Accommodations available upon request.

Golf Outing at Butterfield Country Club

July 8th

Assist in the set up, registration, program, course games, and clean up at Butterfield Country Club in Oak Brook for Turning Pointe Autism Foundation’s annual Golf Outing. Golf Attire Mandatory.

8:00 AM - 1:00 PM: Volunteers will assist in setting up and registering golfers, promoting course games at registration, assist at lunch program.

10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Volunteers will check in afternoon volunteers, distribute game materials and give directions. This time slot of volunteers will have a zoom meeting the week prior to the event for a brief training session.

11:00 AM - 6:00 PM: Volunteers will be paired or in small groups throughout the course conducting various games for the golfers. No Golf Knowledge Required.
