Special Event Volunteers
Special event volunteers participate in one day events on and offsite that help to bring awareness and resources to our misson. Volunteers 14 and older must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian to volunteer. Volunteers 13 and younger must volunteer with a parent or guardian and need to contact the Volunteer Manager in advance to ensure we have age appropriate tasks. Accommodations available upon request.
Naperville Pumpkin Race
October 25th, 2025
Assist in the setup, registration, races, games, and clean up at Rotary Hill for the annual Naperville Pumpkin Race!
8:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Shift 1 Volunteers will help with unloading the truck, set-up, decorating, and preparing Rotary Hill for the races!
12:00 AM - 3:00 PM: Shift 2 Volunteers will help with registration, vendor assist, runners, race track attendants, and general tasks during the event.
3:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Shift 3 Volunteers will help with Rotary Hill clean-up: disassembling the track, tent village, hay bales, signage, extra pumpkins, loading the truck, etc.
Service Saturday Volunteer Days
From 9:00 am – 12:00 pm one Saturday a Month volunteers will gather to work on various projects that help to provide more resources to our families and community. Each month the project changes, volunteer solo or with a group.
Volunteers 14 and older must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian to volunteer. Volunteers 13 and younger must volunteer with a parent or guardian and need to contact the Volunteer Manager in advance. Accommodations are available upon request (sitting tasks, minimal lifting, etc., please contact Volunteer Manager in advance).
