Our Enterprise Story - Turning Pointe Autism Foundation

Our Enterprise Story

Our first student piloted the Adult Day Program in the fall of 2018. Our goal was to not just give our adult day students a place but to offer a complete environment in which to thrive. Part of that was teaching students employability skills and doing our part to ensure they were employed. We began to expand our on-site enterprises to help achieve that goal.
We currently have two active enterprises. Coffee Sales and Distribution in a partnership with Two Brothers Coffee Roasters and the Made to Inspire Boutique. We hired our first two student employees in February of 2020. They work packaging and distributing coffee or making t-shirts and other apparel in our boutique. All purchases made in our store will help continue to employ adults on the autism spectrum.
