As a Turning Pointe Autism Foundation Volunteer

Service Saturday

Service Saturday Volunteers meet one saturday a month

from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm to work on a various projects that help to provide more resources to our families and community. Each month the project changes, volunteer solo or with a group. Volunteers 14 and older must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian to volunteer. Volunteers 13 and younger must volunteer with a parent or guardian and need to contact the Volunteer Manager in advance. If you need any accommodations (sitting tasks, minimal lifting, etc., please contact Volunteer Manager in advance)

Saturday Dates

July 18th: Volunteers will be working on an outdoor gardening project. All volunteers are asked to wear comfortable clothing and a mask.

 

August 22nd: Volunteers will be working on an outdoor gardening project. All volunteers are asked to wear comfortable clothing and a mask.

 These opportunities are weather dependent and subject to change. 

Walgreens Career Mentor

Career Mentor Volunteers

help provide guidance and leadership to our Career College students by participating in mock interviews, trainings, tours and more.

Special Event Volunteers

Special event volunteers participate in one day events onsite and offsite that help to bring awareness and resources to our students. Volunteers 14 and older must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian to volunteer. Volunteers 13 and younger must volunteer with a parent or guardian and need to contact the Volunteer Manager in advance to ensure we have age appropriate tasks. If you need any accommodations (sitting tasks, minimal lifting, etc., please contact Volunteer Manager in advance).

Special Event Volunteers

Turning Pointe Annual Golf Outing:  This event takes place at the historic Butterfield Country Club in Oak Brook Illinois. Volunteers are needed to help with set-up, check- in, course activities, and clean-up.

Volunteers are needed all day we have morning and afternoon shifts available.
