Service Saturday

Service Saturday Volunteers meet every fourth Saturday

from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm to work on a various projects that help to provide more resources to our families and community. Each month the project changes, volunteer solo or with a group. Volunteers 14 and older must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian to volunteer. Volunteers 13 and younger must volunteer with a parent or guardian and need to contact the Volunteer Manager in advance. If you need any accommodations (sitting tasks, minimal lifting, etc., please contact Volunteer Manager in advance)

Saturday Dates

January 11th: Volunteers will be doing indoor projects including helping make teaching tools, organization, and other improvement projects.

February 22nd: Volunteers will be doing indoor projects including helping make teaching tools, organization, and other improvement projects.

March 27th: Volunteers will be doing indoor projects including helping make teaching tools, organization, and other improvement projects.

 

 April 4th: Volunteers will be organizing April Awareness event materials, and doing outside projects: Weather permitting.

May 23rd: Volunteers will be assisting indoor and outdoor projects, including organizing, gardening and helping get classrooms ready for summer school.

Projects are subject to change and weather dependent.

Walgreens Career Mentor

Career Mentor Volunteers

help provide guidance and leadership to our Career College students by participating in mock interviews, trainings, tours and more.

Special Event Volunteers

Special event volunteers participate in one day events onsite and offsite that help to bring awareness and resources to our students. Volunteers 14 and older must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian to volunteer. Volunteers 13 and younger must volunteer with a parent or guardian and need to contact the Volunteer Manager in advance to ensure we have age appropriate tasks. Special Event Volunteers

Turning Pointe Community Theater Variety Show, April 8th: Assist in the set up, passing out programs, tech crew, concessions and tear down for our Autism Awareness Month Community Event. 

Volunteers needed from 5:00pm- 9:00pm

Tech volunteers also needed on April 1st from 5:00 pm-8:00pm for the final dress rehearsal.

 

Career College Graduation Volunteers, April 29th: Assist in the set up, check in, program, and break down. Exact times to follow.
