Service Saturday Volunteers meet one Saturday a month
from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm to work on a various projects that help to provide more resources to our families and community. Each month the project changes, volunteer solo or with a group. Volunteers 14 and older must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian to volunteer. Volunteers 13 and younger must volunteer with a parent or guardian and need to contact the Volunteer Manager in advance. If you need any accommodations (sitting tasks, minimal lifting, etc., please contact Volunteer Manager in advance)
Saturday Dates
January 22nd: Service Saturday will be on-site. doing a variety of projects for our teachers and support staff team. Please come dressed comfortably and ready to follow any local or state COVID guidelines.
February 19th: Service Saturday will be on-site. doing a variety of projects for our teachers and support staff team. Please come dressed comfortably and ready to follow any local or state COVID guidelines.
March 12th: Service Saturday will be on-site. doing a variety of projects for our teachers and support staff team. Please come dressed comfortably and ready to follow any local or state COVID guidelines.
April 23rd: Service Saturday will be on-site. doing a variety of projects for our teachers and support staff team. Please come dressed comfortably for the outdoors and ready to follow any local or state COVID guidelines.
Group Volunteer opportunities
We love group volunteer days! We have hosted Corporate Groups, Cultural Groups, School Groups, and more! If you have a group that is interested in sharing their time and talents contact our Volunteer Manager at sgroth@turningpointeaf.org to set up a project, date and time!
Special Event Volunteers
Special event volunteers participate in one day events onsite and offsite that help to bring awareness and resources to our students. Volunteers 14 and older must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian to volunteer. Volunteers 13 and younger must volunteer with a parent or guardian and need to contact the Volunteer Manager in advance to ensure we have age appropriate tasks.
