Career College

Leveraging local businesses — from family run to Fortune 500 —
and utilizing best practice interventions, Career College teaches and trains adults on the spectrum for employment.
Turning Pointe Career College
Career College program fosters independence through two semesters of full-time coursework and includes practical training in real-world environments. Successful completion of our program opens the door to many new and exciting possibilities. In as little as ten months, students can graduate to receive Career Mentor Support and are guaranteed an interview with one of our employment partners.
The Turning Pointe Career College affords the opportunity to learn employment skills in a supportive environment with a best practice clinical approach to personalized education. In addition to the focus on employment, independence and communication skills are taught through this ten-month program which meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Currently, 98% of outstanding Career College students secured employment after graduation. Thanks to diversity-minded employment partners like Walgreens, Dan Wolf Automotive, Dealer Inspire and DuPage County, students of the Career College are exposed to various environments and opportunities for work. Then students interests and aptitudes are paired for training that increases the likelihood that students will be satisfied and successful in their chosen career path.
Turning Pointe knows from first-hand experience, the powerful impact Career College graduates can have on an organization. As advocates ourselves, Turning Pointe employes graduates in our own Made to Inspire Cafe and Uniquely Pawfect enterprises. These businesses offer ongoing training and opportunities for continued skill acquisition (customer service, organization, communication, etc.) and simply make our team stronger, happier and more well rounded.
